DAVID GUGGENHEIM's career started with the sale of the Denzel Washington/Ryan Reynolds starring movie SAFEHOUSE and he never stopped working after that.
Most recently he wrote the Netflix hit action film THE UNION that stars Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry. He just finished writing the action film RUN FOR YOUR LIFE for director Rob Hargrave for Universal Pictures. He is currently writing an untitled NFL action film for Skydance Sports and the NFL.
He's worked on UNCHARTED at Sony, BAD BOYS FOR LIFE for Sony and production work on various big IP/franchises around town. He also produced, sold, and pitched the idea for CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES to Netflix which is now a franchise. He went on to sell multiple specs and pitches to Universal, Sony, Lionsgate and his spec NARCO SUB was in development with the late great Tony Scott.
In Television, David was the Creator and Executive Producer of the ABC/Netflix series DESIGNATED SURVIVOR that ran for 3 seasons starring Keifer Sutherland.
