Writer/producer Katie Robbins is the creator and showrunner of Hulu’s acclaimed limited series “Good American Family,” starring Ellen Pompeo and Mark Duplass. The series recently premiered on March 19th on the streaming service. Robbins is also the creator and showrunner of the AppleTV+ drama series “Sunny,” which premiered in 2024. The series is written and executive produced by Robbins, through her shingle Babka Pictures and stars Emmy Award nominee Rashida Jones.

Robbins’ previous credits include serving as producer on the award-winning Showtime drama series “The Affair,” writer on Amazon’s “The Last Tycoon,” based on the classic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and consulting producer on the Freeform series “Party of Five.”

She previously was a journalist and documentary producer, covering public policy, culture, and food, for outlets including PBS NewsHour, ABC News and The Atlantic.
