Variety’s New Leaders
Kailey Marsh is a Brooklyn-based literary manager and producer focused on identifying and championing distinctive voices in film, television, and emerging media. After six years at Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Marsh returned to independent management and founded Five Line.
At just 22 years old, Marsh founded the annual BloodList, which she led for 15 years. Under her direction, the BloodList and its accompanying platform, BloodList.com, became an influential resource for discovering emerging screenwriters and filmmakers working in horror, thriller, and other dark genres. The platform helped shine a spotlight on new voices and became a respected part of the genre community.
Marsh’s producing credits include serving as Co-Executive Producer on Season 1 of Hulu’s supernatural horror series Light as a Feather and Executive Producer on Season 2.
Her influence within the genre and broader entertainment community has been recognized by Variety, which named Marsh as part of their New Leaders List in 2023. She also serves on the Board of Advisors for Screamfest Horror Film Festival.
